SLIP ON FLANGES
Global steel are well known manufacturer/ exporter of flanges in the steel market worldwide. These Flange is slipped over the pipe and then welded both inside and outside to provide sufficient strength and prevent leakage. This

WELD NECK FLANGES
The weld neck flange derives its name from the neck portion of the flange that is welded to the end of a piping system. Weld Neck Flanges, wnrf flange exporters mumbai, weld neck raised face flange have a long tapered hub and are often used for high pressure applications. It is designed to transfer stress to the pipe, thereby reducing high stress concentrations at the base of the flange. Weld Neck flanges are costlier due to their design and engineering, and increased material.
When ordering a weld neck flange, it is important to specify the schedule pipe is being used for. These flanges are ideal for extreme fluctuations of temperature and in environments where there may be a lot of bending and handling of the flanges.

BLIND FLANGES
Blind flanges are without the bore and is used to shut off a piping system or vessel opening. it also permits easy access to vessels or piping system for inspection purpose. Blind flange is a kind of round plate with no center hole but with all the proper bolt holes. Leading products include blrf flange manufacturers, blrf blind flanges suppliers. It is used to blank off the ends of piping, valves and pressure vessel opening. From the standpoint of internal pressure and bolt loading, blind flanges, particularly in the larger sizes, are the most highly stressed of all flange types; however, since the maximum stresses in a blind flange are bending stresses at the center, they can safely be permitted to be higher than in other types of flanges.

SOCKET WELD FLANGES
Socket Weld Flanges are similar to slip-on flanges, however, socket welds have an internal recess on the inside diameter to allow for a smoother flow of the process fluid. The positive of this is that is creates a smooth bore with the proper welding and grinding. The negative of this type of flange is that it can be more expensive than a slip-on due to more intricate machining, and they can be less readily available than slip-ons due to the fact that the bottom half of the inside diameter must be made to the same schedule as the pipe that is being used. (Customer must specify the schedule needed) These socket weld flanges were initially developed for use on smaller sizes of pipe at higher pressure ratings. They are more used on lower pressure temperature as well today.

ORIFICE FLANGES
Orifice Flanges are intended for use instead of standard pipe flanges when an orifice plate or flow nozzle must be installed. Pairs of pressure "Tappings", mostly on 2 sides, directly opposite each other, are machined into the orifice flange. This makes separate orifice carriers or tappings in the pipe wall unnecessary. On the image above a set Orifice Flanges is shown, where the tappings are sealed with a plug, and where a jack screw is machined. This jack screw is used to facilitate separating the flanges for inspection or replacement of the "Orifice Plate.

RING TYPE JOINT FLANGES

Ring joint flange is a special type of flange connection in which a metal ring (resting in a groove in the flange), ring joint flange manufacturers, serves as a pressure seal between the two flanges. RTJ flanges seal when tightened bolts compress the gasket between the flanges into the grooves, deforming (or "Coining") the gasket to make Intimate Contact inside the grooves, creating a metal to metal seal.
